Congratulations to the EGHS Avengers Unified Volleyball Team! 2013 National Champions!!!!

Congratulations to the EGHS Avengers JV Fastpitch Softball Team for winning the RI State Championship, defeating Prout for the title. The girls won 4-0 on May 11, 2013! Way to go!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS EAST GREENWICH HIGH SCHOOL!!!!! EGHS was named SCHOOL OF THE YEAR by the Rhode Island Insterscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (RIIAAA)! WAY TO GO, AVENGERS!

The EG Unified Volleyball Team has been selected to attend the National Volleyball Championships in Louisville, KY as part of the Project Unify Division. The Avengers were this year's state champion in Unified Volleyball, and are the defending champions having won the Project Unify Division at the National Championships last year in Salt Lake City. Rhode Island Special Olympics continues to be a national leader in developing unified sports at the high school level. Unified sports pairs Special Olympic athletes with partners on the same team. The Avengers have achieved their success through a fully Unified approach to the game, with partners working to facilitate athlete's success on the courts! Thanks to Special Olympics Rhode Island for this opportunity. The Tournament is the weekend of May 25-26.

Congrats Avengers on winning the RIIL Challenge Cup for the Fall 2012 Season! Athletic achievements combined with non-stop voting for Spirit points propelled us to a first place victory in the RIIL Medium School Division! Barrington came in second and Prout came in third!
